Henri Léopold Lévy

Henri Léopold Lévy (1840–1904) was a French painter known for his dramatic historical and allegorical compositions. Born in Nancy, France, he trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, studying under the renowned François-Édouard Picot. Lévy quickly distinguished himself with his ability to fuse historical grandeur with deeply expressive figures, earning recognition at the Paris Salon, where he exhibited regularly.
