Collection: Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM)

Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, KPM evolved alongside the artistic movements of the time, incorporating Rococo, Neoclassicism, and later, Art Nouveau influences into its designs. While initially focused on fine porcelain tableware and decorative pieces, KPM also became famous for its meticulously hand-painted plaques, which often depicted historical, mythological, and romanticized genre scenes. These plaques, executed by master painters, elevated porcelain to a medium of fine art, rivaling traditional oil paintings.
